Dharavi Redevelopment Project Launches 'Dharavi Didi,' An AI Assistant For Residents

ANDPL has launched Dharavi Didi, a 24x7 AI assistant that provides Dharavi residents with verified redevelopment information through WhatsApp, voice and video calls.

Adani Navbharat Developers Private Limited (ANDPL), the special purpose vehicle (SPV) implementing the Dharavi Redevelopment Project (DRP), has launched Dharavi Didi, a AI-powered virtual assistant that provides residents with round-the-clock access to official information on surveys, eligibility, documentation and rehabilitation.

Available through video calls, voice calls and WhatsApp, the AI assistant currently supports Hindi, Marathi and English, with Tamil, Telugu and Gujarati expected to be added in the coming months.

The initiative is designed to improve access to verified project information and reduce dependence on unofficial sources, as the redevelopment project progresses.
