Data center revenue soars 92% as NVIDIA turns in another record-breaking quarter...and the share price falls

The AI bubble held intact yesterday as NIVIDA turned in record overall revenue of $81.6 billion for Q1 calendar 2027, with data center revenue making up $75.2 billion of that, up a massive 92% year-on-year. Net income was $58.32 billion, up from $18.78 billion in the comparable year-ago quarter.

So, of course, the share price fell on Wall Street as the short termists seemingly fretted that growth going forward wouldn’t match their greed...

But for Jensen Huang, the glass was resolutely more than half-full:
