CtrlVibe Takes On Codex Micro
If you’re into tokenmaxxing, OpenAI's Codex Micro looks like a pretty good way to manage the many AI agents you've often got running in the background. But at $230, it is a pretty pricey macropad. Even if the cost doesn’t bother you, it has long been out of stock. So if you want to add some hardware to your AI coding workflow, you’re going to need another option.
A new alternative, called the CtrlVibe AI Console, is a programmable desktop controller that has just launched on Kickstarter. Rather than serving as another generic customizable macropad, CtrlVibe is designed specifically around AI-assisted workflows, with dedicated controls for switching between AI applications, managing execution permissions, recording voice prompts, and monitoring the status of long-running tasks.
