CrowdStrike Appoints Former Splunk Executive AJ Shipley As Chief Product Officer
CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company specializing in cloud-native security platforms, has appointed AJ Shipley as its Chief Product Officer (CPO), tasking the former Splunk Security executive with leading product strategy as the company expands its cybersecurity offerings for the artificial intelligence (AI) era.
Shipley will lead the product organization and oversee innovation across the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, with a focus on securing AI workloads, identities and agentic workflows as enterprises increase AI adoption. The appointment comes as cybersecurity vendors broaden their platforms to address emerging risks associated with AI-powered applications and autonomous agents.
