CRED Expands Its Credit Platform With An AI Coach

CRED has introduced an AI-powered credit coach that provides personalised guidance based on a member's credit profile while also offering real-time alerts whenever changes appear in their credit report.

The launch builds on CRED's existing credit score offering, which the company says has grown to 36 lakh monthly active users within a year.

Rather than limiting users to periodic score updates, the new feature enables members to ask conversational questions such as why their score declined, how closing an old credit card might affect their profile, or what steps could help improve their score beyond 800.

The AI assistant combines CRED's proprietary systems for interpreting credit report data with a conversational AI interface designed to provide contextual explanations and practical guidance.

The company said member data used during these interactions is neither stored nor retained through AI conversations, making privacy a core part of the experience.
