Coinspaid Dev’s Alexey Tulia on engineering leadership when AI reaches production

Companies already use AI to help with drafting and analysis. The next stage will connect agents to live systems, from sensitive data to deployment pipelines, allowing them to act. That access raises questions about permissions and who is responsible for each decision.

Tulia’s comments come amid a wider debate over whether AI capabilities are advancing faster than safety practices. In September, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei called for slowing capability development so safety work could catch up. Tulia focused on a related question at the company level: the limits companies should set once AI agents gain access to production systems.
