Cognizant Names Javed Panjwani VP of AI Strategy and Growth
Cognizant has appointed Javed Panjwani as Vice President, AI Strategy & Growth – AI Platforms, marking his return to the company in a new leadership role focused on enterprise artificial intelligence (AI).
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Panjwani will focus on helping businesses move beyond AI experimentation toward enterprise-grade deployments, drawing on Cognizant's AI platform capabilities.
The appointment comes as technology services companies increasingly focus on turning enterprise AI investments into measurable business outcomes.
A Return to Cognizant
Panjwani rejoins Cognizant after holding senior positions across AI partnerships, enterprise software, cloud platforms and business development.
Before this appointment, he served as Head of Business Development, Partnerships and Channel for CRM, SPM and AI at ZS. His responsibilities included building AI partnerships and go-to-market strategies involving Salesforce, Google Cloud and NVIDIA.
He also worked on initiatives across healthcare and life sciences, communications, media and technology, and travel and hospitality.
