CNAP Caller Name Display to Launch on 4G and 5G From November 1
Mobile users in India will soon see the name of the person calling them. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has confirmed that the Caller Name Presentation (CNAP) service will roll out from November 1, first on 4G and 5G connections. Users will no longer need a third-party app to see who is calling.

The service for 2G and 3G networks and for landline connections will be considered separately.
