Celonis Acquires Ikigai Labs To Add Decision Intelligence And Forecasting

Celonis has launched the Celonis Context Model (CCM) and announced a definitive agreement to acquire Ikigai Labs, as the process intelligence company looks to address one of enterprise AI’s biggest challenges: operational context.

The announcement comes as enterprises increasingly adopt AI agents and automation tools but struggle to generate meaningful business outcomes because AI systems often lack visibility into how organisations actually function.

The newly launched CCM is designed to create a real-time digital twin of enterprise operations by combining process data, business knowledge and operational intelligence from systems, applications and workflows across the organisation. Celonis said the platform translates business operations into a format AI systems can better understand, enabling more reliable reasoning, automation and decision-making at scale.
