Cavalcade of New Macs Is Coming, Report Says, Starting With M6 MacBook Pro This Fall

Give Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman an atlas and the keys to the car because he knows Apple’s roadmap for every type of Mac the company sells, and it’s quite a ride. From the budget MacBook Neo to the high-end, high-powered Mac Studio, Apple is working on updates to each of its MacBook lines and Mac desktops. We’ll see Mac refreshes as soon as this fall, Gurman says, but others won’t arrive until 2028.

Coming this fall: M6 MacBook, refreshed iMac

First up will be the first MacBook with Apple’s M6 processor. It will arrive in the shape of the baseline 14-inch MacBook Pro this fall. A redesign does not appear to be a part of this refresh, only an internal update with new Apple silicon.
