Casio Put a Health Tracker in Its Funky Ring Watch

Casio is preparing to launch the CRW-H001M-8, a version of its ring watch that incorporates health tracking and smartphone alerts. The model will come to China first for a USD equivalent of $294 (after local tax); it's unclear so far whether Casio will bring it to other markets later.

The CRW-H001M-8 can record a user's heart rate, blood oxygen, body temperature, sleep, steps, and calories burned during walking, running, and cycling. It also links with Casio's phone app, which is available for iOS, Android, and selected Huawei HarmonyOS devices. Through this connection, the tiny finger-watch can deliver vibration alerts for calls, messages, alarms, and certain health notifications, Engadget reports.
