Capgemini upgrades smart manufacturing at Bentley Motors

Capgemini is deploying AI and data infrastructure at Bentley Motors to upgrade smart manufacturing technology systems.

Bentley Motors appointed Capgemini as its digital operations lead to support the delivery of its Beyond100+ vision. Operating as the digital transformation lead, Capgemini will provide the digital infrastructure and systems integration required to drive smart manufacturing technology systems and integrate back-office processes.

Axel Dewitz, Member of the Board for Finance and IT at Bentley Motors, said: “This transition marks an important step in Bentley’s digital journey. With Capgemini, we are building a strategic relationship to support our long-term ambitions. The integration is progressing smoothly and we’re looking to the future with a shared commitment to quality and agility.”

Crewe in Cheshire houses Bentley’s Dream Factory, acting as the primary site for this integration. Bentley executes what it describes as “hyper-personalised, digital, and sustainable” luxury vehicle assembly at this location.
