BRKZ secures $31m to scale AI-enabled building materials procurement
BRKZ is a technology-enabled building materials procurement platform in Saudi Arabia. It has announced $31 million in new capital to fuel its next phase of growth. That includes advancing its AI-powered pricing and fulfillment engine. It also includes rolling out embedded financing solutions for its network of contractors and suppliers.
The funding includes $13 million in Series B equity. Wa’ed Ventures, a venture capital arm of Aramco, co-led it with 500 Global. BECO Capital and Anb Seed Fund participated. Alongside the equity round, existing financing partner Stride Ventures has committed $18 million in growth debt. That debt sits under BRKZ’s previously announced $30 million venture debt facility. It supports working capital and flexible payment terms for customers.
