BlackLine has received PCI DSS compliance validation for its PCI Detokenization Service, allowing organizations to use its transaction-matching and reconciliation capabilities for workflows involving sensitive payment-card information.
The validation addresses a challenge for organizations processing large volumes of card transactions. Even a small share of unmatched transactions can result in significant manual reconciliation work, while security controls can restrict access to the cardholder data needed for automated matching.
Secure Card Data Access
BlackLine said its PCI Detokenization Integration Service allows authorized users to access the payment-card information required for transaction matching, while the underlying cardholder data remains within the customer’s environment.
The service works with BlackLine’s existing transaction-matching capabilities to automate more reconciliation tasks without moving sensitive cardholder information into the platform.
