Bharat Innovates 2026 Links Indian DeepTech Startups with Global Capital, Seals 30+ India-Europe Partnerships

India's push to position itself as a global DeepTech innovation hub gained momentum at Bharat Innovates 2026, where more than 30 partnership agreements were signed and over 40 startups secured investor follow-up commitments after pitching to international venture funds and corporate investors.

Jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron in Nice, France, the inaugural edition of Bharat Innovates brought together more than 500 stakeholders, including startups, researchers, investors, universities, policymakers and corporate leaders from India, Europe and other global markets.

The event, an initiative of the Government of India implemented by the Ministry of Education, is designed to connect India's rapidly growing DeepTech ecosystem with global capital, research networks and commercialisation opportunities.

Over three days, the summit showcased 120 Indian innovators, more than 15 higher education institutions and technologies spanning artificial intelligence, semiconductors, biotechnology, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, space technology and energy.
