Beyond dashboards: Why TVS Next is betting on “Manufacturing Intelligence Orchestration”

Walk into almost any large Indian factory today and you’ll find no shortage of technology. ERP systems track orders and inventory. MES platforms manage shop-floor execution. IoT sensors stream machine data. Quality and maintenance teams run their own point solutions. On paper, manufacturing has never been more instrumented.

Yet ask a plant head why a line went down, or why a batch failed quality checks, and the answer often still takes hours to assemble — pulled together manually from three or four disconnected systems that were never designed to talk to each other. The investment in digital infrastructure has outpaced the ability to turn that infrastructure into decisions.

This is the gap that TVS Next, the venture-building and innovation arm of the TVS Group, has set out to close with NexOps — a platform it calls a “Manufacturing Intelligence Orchestration Solution.” It’s a deliberately unconventional label, and that’s the point.
