Beef prices continue to climb, hitting a record high in April as limited supply caused the spike. The average price of ground beef reached about $6.70 per pound in March, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Plus, some experts also warn that another wave of food inflation could be on the horizon due to the Iran war.
