Four or five years ago, there was chatter that Apple was working on a lighter, sport version of the AirPods Max. Those sporty AirPods Max never materialized, but Beats, which has been owned by Apple for over 10 years, is positioning its new 360 over-ear headphones ($350) as a hybrid sports model. So maybe there was a grain of truth to the rumor after all, even if the device morphed into a Beats product.

Either way, there’s a lot to like about the Beats...
