AWOL Vision Aetherion Pro UST Projector Review: Sci-Fi Looks, Earthbound Performance
A seemingly endless tide of boring black boxes flood my lab every week. It seems most companies hate looking unique – but then, looking unique means that some people might not like the design and buy something else. I’m not in marketing, I don’t know what the best approach is. What I do know is that I think the angular, sci-fi design of the Aetherion Pro is fantastic. The customizable LED strip on the front looks great and adds a delightful twist among a sea of similar interchangeable boxes.
The performance, unfortunately, doesn’t quite match up to the looks. It’s only a little brighter than the far cheaper Xgimi Aura 2, and far less bright and less colorful than the Epson Lifestudio Grand Plus. If it was a bit cheaper, it’d be perfect for people who like the look.
