At GDMC 2026, Sandeep Marwah Calls for Responsible Use of AI
As artificial intelligence and digital platforms become embedded in education, business, media, and everyday life, the conversation is increasingly shifting from technology itself to how people choose to use it. Conversations around responsibility, ethics, and human judgement are now becoming as important as discussions around capability and innovation.
That theme took centre stage at the inaugural session of the Global Digital Media Conclave (GDMC) 2026, organised by the AAFT School of Digital Marketing, where Dr Sandeep Marwah, President and Chancellor, AAFT University, delivered the opening keynote.
Rather than focusing on technology trends or tools, Marwah framed digital media and AI through a broader philosophical lens, arguing that technology remains a reflection of human intent.
Technology as a Tool
Addressing students and industry participants, Marwah drew a comparison between human agency and technological power.
