Asus customer says $10,000 ROG anniversary bundle order was canceled, forcing them to pay $500 more

WTF?! One would imagine that any PC hardware company would be grateful to a customer who spent more than $10,000 on a purchase. But one Reddit user claims Asus cancelled their ROG 20th Anniversary Bundle order without attempting delivery. The same bundle now costs $500 more, leaving the buyer facing a pricier reorder.

According to Trying-to-buildpc, they preordered the ROG 20th Edition Component Bundle, which contains a ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20, ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 motherboard, ROG Ryujin 360 Edition 20 liquid cooler, ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 power supply, and ROG GR20 Edition 20 chassis. With the graphics card alone coming to around $6,000 when bought separately, the bundle was originally listed at $10,350.
