Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro Could Come in Black, but Skip Silver This Year

Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to be unveiled at the company’s Sept. 9 launch event, and a new rumor appears to be firming up the three-color lineup for these phones.

According to leaker Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo (h/t MacRumors), the iPhone 18 Pro is now in full production and is set to come in sky blue, pure black and burgundy models. Prior iPhone 18 rumors have pointed to these colors, although the names have varied (dark cherry instead of burgundy, for instance).

For anyone hoping for a silver or gray shade, this report suggests Apple may skip that color this year, instead bringing back black after abandoning it on the iPhone 17 Pro series. Last year, black was available on other iPhone models, such as the iPhone Air, the base iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17E.
