Apple Unveils iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max With Variable-Aperture Camera, A20 Pro Chip

Apple on Wednesday unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, each featuring a variable-aperture main camera and the 2nm-based A20 Pro chip.
Both phones have a 48MP Fusion main camera that can adjust its aperture based on lighting and depth needs. Users can also manually choose from four aperture settings.
The A20 Pro chip has a 6-core CPU, a 7-core GPU, and a dual 16-core Neural Engine. Apple says the chip gives up to 40% faster GPU performance than the iPhone 17 Pro's A19 Pro and 2x that of the iPhone 16 Pro's A18 Pro. The vapor chamber has also been redesigned.
The iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.3-inch display—the same as the iPhone 17 Pro—and the Pro Max has a 6.90-inch display. Both phones come with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage options. This...
