Apple has a Mac mini ready, and it may be Tim Cook’s last product
Apple is preparing to release a new Mac mini within days, ahead of its September iPhone event, according to a Bloomberg report that also puts AirPods 5 at that event and an OLED iPad mini in October.
The timing would make the Mac mini one of the last products shipped under Tim Cook, who hands the chief executive role to John Ternus on 1 September.
Which processor it carries is not yet settled in the reporting. The machine could arrive with either an M5 or an M6, since the current Mac mini never received the M5 at all and has gone close to two years without an update.
