AntSeed launched an open marketplace for AI model access that operates peer-to-peer, with no central aggregator between consumers and providers. The network is live at antseed.com. On its face it may look like a regular developer-tools launch but against the AI infrastructure economy of 2026 (where we humans dwell now), this is the first credible architectural counter to a category of AI that just hit a $1.3 billion valuation.
The category in question is the AI aggregator stack, and the company defining it is OpenRouter, which according to The Information is in talks for a $120 million round at a $1.3 billion valuation, led by CapitalG, Alphabet's independent growth fund.
