Anthropic Names Sangeeta Bavi to Expand India Startup Reach

Anthropic has appointed Sangeeta Bavi as Head of Digital Natives, Startups and Growth for India. The move comes as the AI company expands its presence in the country and deepens its focus on startups and growth-stage firms building with generative AI technologies.

Bavi announced the development in a LinkedIn post, describing the role as closely aligned with her long association with startup ecosystems and founders.

“Founders have always held a special place in mine,” Bavi wrote. “Their ambition, resilience and belief that they can change the world have taught me more than any other form of learning.”
