Anthropic IPO filing shows CEO Dario Amodei earned $18M last year
Dario Amodei earned $18M last year as chief executive of Anthropic, the maker of the Claude AI models, according to the company’s IPO prospectus.
Reuters reported the figure on Tuesday after seeing the filing, which has not been made public.
Most of the package came as stock and options rather than salary. Amodei and his sister Daniela Amodei, Anthropic’s president, each had their annual salary doubled to $1.4M in July. Daniela Amodei received a total of $16.4M for 2025.
The board of Anthropic has also committed to giving the two of them more shares this year in the form of restricted stock units, some of which are conditional on them remaining with the company and some of which are tied to the listing.
