Anthropic extends $1 per user OneGov deal by a month

The OneGov extension means discounted access to Google Gemini is the only deal under the program currently set to expire at the end of this month.
Federal agencies will continue to have access to Anthropic’s Claude for $1 per user through Oct. 31 instead of Sept. 30, according to a listing on the General Services Administration’s OneGov website.
GSA and Anthropic did not immediately respond to requests for comment. FedScoop first reported news of the extension.
The prolonged savings come a week after OpenAI announced a new OneGov partnershipoffering agencies discounted usage-based pricing for ChatGPT, rather than a $1 per agency price tag.
