Anthropic deepens push into financial services

Anthropic released agent templates for financial services work this week, which target time-consuming parts of financial services, such as building pitchbooks, screening know-your-customer files and closing the books at month-end. It follows releases focused on the healthcare and legal sectors from Anthropic earlier this year, a sign the company is zeroing in on specific verticals as it expands its enterprise AI push.
The AI company also partnered with private equity firms Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman and Goldman Sachs this week in the formation of a new AI services company aimed at scaling Claude across hundreds of enterprises.
