Amit Saxena Joins Barco to Lead Global IT, Cybersecurity and AI
Barco has appointed Amit Saxena as Vice President, Global Head of IT, Cybersecurity & AI Platforms, bringing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence under his global technology mandate.
Saxena announced the appointment on LinkedIn. He joins the Belgium-headquartered technology company with more than 28 years of experience spanning IT strategy, cloud, AI, digital transformation, infrastructure and global capability centers.
A Broader Technology Mandate At Barco
In his new role, Saxena will focus on strengthening Barco's global digital foundations and cybersecurity capabilities while supporting the development and scaling of AI platforms across the organization.
The mandate brings together areas that enterprises increasingly have to manage as interconnected technology priorities. As organizations expand their use of cloud and AI, the underlying infrastructure, security and resilience become part of the same technology conversation.
Saxena will also work on aligning these technology capabilities with Barco's broader business objectives.
