Tuesday's State of Play was full of new announcements, including our first look at Wolverine gameplay and the big surprise of God of War: Laufey. It also showed that Sony is changing its approach to the PlayStation platform's future and that everyone in the industry is terrified of the release of GTA 6.

There were more than 20 games featured in the State of Play event, consisting of reveals of brand new games and new details for already known titles. A noticeable change compared to previous years was the lack of updates about live service games. Instead, Sony put its focus on traditional narrative-based games, both big-budget and indie.
