Ahold Delhaize USA announced Tuesday the appointment of Vipin Gopal as chief data and artificial intelligence officer.
Gopal, whose new title includes senior vice president, will lead data, analytics and AI strategy to advance ADUSA’s efforts to further incorporate “data-driven decision-making and AI capabilities” into its business.
Naming Gopal as chief data and AI officer follows the grocery company’s rollout of major AI initiatives in Europe.
