After reviewing the Garmin Fenix 9 Pro on trails in the French Alps and Scotland, it's a winner and worthy of five-star status
Garmin’s best watch gets better with a titanium case, a brighter screen, more size options and improved maps. This is a near-perfect performance watch with plenty of convenience features and a price tag that at best could be described as aspirational. Though I can’t make the case for ditching your Fenix 8, if you’re still running on a Fenix 7 or older model, this is the watch to upgrade to when your battery finally dies – especially if your adventures take you onto the path less beaten.
Pros
- +Slimmer and lighter
- +Fully titanium redesign
- +3,000-nit AMOLED display
- +New tools like Stamina mode
Cons
- -Fast battery drain during GPS workouts, on modes other than Max Battery
