Adobe Launches Redesigned Premiere Video-Editing App on Android
Adobe launched its redesigned Premiere mobile video-editing app on Google Play. Called "Adobe Premiere: Video Editor," the app is a mobile version of the famous desktop video editor—the same app that came to iOS a year ago.
The app requires Android 13 or later and at least 5GB of RAM. The base software is free, with no ads or bloatware, forced account sign-ins, or export watermarks. Users can export unlimited projects in 4K resolution at no cost.
Like other mobile video editors, the core editor offers a multi-track timeline for layering video, audio, text, and effects. It also has tools like precise trimming, speed adjustments, color presets, voiceover options, and more. The Enhance Audio tool removes background noise from speech-heavy clips, and a suite of social media tools makes it easier to produce YouTube Shorts, TikTok clips, and Instagram Reels.
