ACI And Cognizant Test BASE24-eps On AWS
ACI Worldwide and Cognizant have completed performance testing of ACI’s BASE24-eps card processing platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with the system sustaining more than twice its target transaction load for 30 minutes without a failed transaction.
The companies said the test environment processed more than 4.6 million transactions without a failure. The testing was conducted in a non-production environment and was designed to assess whether BASE24-eps could be deployed on AWS using managed services while sustaining the targeted transaction load.
The test is relevant to banks and financial institutions evaluating cloud migration for card processing, where transaction volumes can fluctuate significantly during periods such as holidays and salary cycles. The companies said the environment was designed to test performance under sustained point-of-sale transaction loads.
