Accenture launches Accenture Construct for capital project delivery
Accenture has launched Accenture Construct, a global business focused on planning, delivering and optimising large capital projects across sectors including data centres, energy, transportation and advanced manufacturing.
The new business brings together Accenture’s capital projects capabilities across strategic advisory, engineering, project delivery and technology services. Accenture said the business will use data and AI to address delays, cost overruns and execution risks associated with fragmented project delivery models.
Accenture said the market for integrated owner-side capital project services is currently valued at $260 billion and is projected to reach $348 billion by 2030, representing annual growth of 7.5%.
“Global demand for critical infrastructure capital programs is accelerating at the same time as AI is fundamentally changing how projects are planned, delivered and operated,” said Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO, Accenture.
