The gaming world has been absolutely obsessed since the initial trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 dropped over a year and a half ago. Industry analysts have pondered price points, publishers have gone out their way to ensure their games don’t release anywhere near the same date, and fans have been turned into internet sleuths. It’s often been a bit much, but that didn’t stop one Redditor from going to the next level, as spotted by Tom’s Hardware.
A user by the name of Then-Pomegranate-625 posted in the /r/GTA6unmoderated subreddit what they believed to be an extensive analysis of data they obtained from staking out Rockstar Games’ headquarters. The data collected includes oxygen levels, decibels from a particular part of the building where meetings take place, and even counting discarded cigarettes, all in an effort to try and suss out when exactly the studio would release...
