A Custom Security Camera Built for Complete Privacy
Whether you’re away for the afternoon or a few weeks, it’s great to be able to check in on your home or pets with a security camera. But what’s not so great is the thought that someone might be checking in on you without your knowledge when you are at home. Commercial camera systems may offer lots of promises, but how can you really be sure that your data is secure? Breaches happen all the time, so it’s hard to trust a cloud service with access to video streams inside your home.
That lack of trust is what motivated Clem Mayer to build his own security camera from scratch. He designed a completely self-contained system around the PocketBeagle 2 single-board computer.
